Job Introduction
To support the Technical Team in delivering key projects and daily activities as well as liaise with our production teams to ensure the high standards of food safety and quality are maintained.
Role Responsibility
Key Aspects of Job:
Working in the areas listed below with the relevant supervisors, managers and line staff to ensure quality systems are understood, implemented daily and developed over time.
Technical Tasks:
- Gaining hands-on experience in the kitchen working alongside our technical team to ensure quality from receipt of ingredients, through preparing and cooking our dishes and sending them to our customers.
- Involvement with managing the HACCP plan.
- Ensuring BRC AA+ food safety standards are being maintained through auditing verification.
- Making sure our packs contain all the right information from a legislation perspective.
- Practical application from validating our critical control points, resolving customer complaints, and auditing our quality management system.
- Supporting our Raw Material team on assessing new ingredients and new suppliers when appropriate.
- Involvement and liaising with other departments to ensure success of operational and quality improvement projects.
The Ideal Candidate
- Working towards a Food Science or Technology Degree qualified (or similar)
