Job Introduction
Reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager, you’ll work across production planning and materials scheduling, ensuring our production kitchen team has everything they need to deliver each day’s recipes.
Role Responsibility
Key responsibilities:
- Working with and supporting our 4 on 4 off Planners
- Formulation of a weekly production forecast that will inform our ingredient ordering and ensure we have the right amount of food and packaging to make our dishes whilst keeping wastage to a minimum
- Creation of daily production schedules to ensure all customer orders are met and internal service levels achieved across the different areas of our kitchen
- Working with our commercial, NFD and procurement teams to ensure any changes to our recipes are accurately set up and communicated as necessary
- Covering 4 on 4 off Planners Holiday’s, which may include working weekends
The Ideal Candidate
Experience
We’d really like it if you have experience of production planning, ideally in the food industry (FMCG) and familiar with using an MRP / MPS system
