Job Introduction
As part of the Packing Team, you’ll play a key role in the final stage of our production process, ensuring our dishes meet Bigham’s high standards before heading out to our customers.
You’ll work 40 hours across 4 days, giving you 3 days off every week - more time to rest, recharge and enjoy life outside of work.
- Monday - Thursday: 7am - 5pm
Role Responsibility
As a Packing Team Member, you will:
- Use specialist equipment to identify and remove dishes that don’t meet Bigham’s quality standards
- Carefully measure and add toppings to finish dishes to a high standard
- Refill packing machines with cardboard sleeves or boxes
- Accurately stack boxed dishes onto pallets and move completed pallets to Logistics
- Maintain high hygiene standards and a clean, tidy workspace
- Complete food preparation records and logs
- Carry out effective and accurate shift handovers
- Flag any equipment issues within your area
- Work as part of a fast‑paced team to achieve the daily production plan

You’ll also need:
- Confidence working with technology and machinery, including packing and quality‑check equipment
- A willingness to learn how to use existing and newly introduced packing equipment
- The ability to regularly lift boxes of up to 20kg

- A desire to develop your skills and grow as part of the Bigham’s team
Experience in a packing, machinist or food production role would be beneficial, but isn’t essential - full training will be provided.
